ProScope HR Support Quick Fix
Note: Most problems can be solved by checking that you have the minimum system requirements for the ProScope HR and that you are running the latest version of the ProScope HR software. Minimum system requirements and the latest version of the ProScope HR software can be found on either the Software page or our ProScope HR support page.
Windows XP (SP3) or XP Pro Update
If you have switched from Windows XP SP2 to SP3 or XP Pro then be sure you are running ProScope HR version 1.1.3.1. If not, uninstall the ProScope HR software and download the latest version from our Software or Support pages.
Original ProScope
The original ProScope will NOT work on any 64-bit Windows OS, including XP, Vista and 7. The original ProScope currently does not work on Intel based Macs. A perfect fit for any OS9 through OSX G3, G4 and G5. You may run the ProScope HR software with the original ProScope as long as you have OS 10.4.8. You will not have any of the high resolution benefits in the HR software. USB Shot is recommended when using the original ProScope.
